The aim of our sponsorships is to:
- raise awareness of International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) across Australia
- promote awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability among mainstream audiences.
We do not currently provide funding or sponsorship opportunities for local IDPwD events.
Proposals to sponsor a national award, event or activity can be emailed to idpwd@health.gov.au for consideration.
Our current sponsorships are:
ABC Storyteller Scholarship and Employment Fund
IDPwD is partnering with the ABC to showcase the creative work of emerging content makers with disability.
The partnership includes professional employment opportunities for people with disability. It also includes stories by, and about, people with disability across ABC:
- websites
- radio
- social media
- TV
