In celebration of IDPwD, Balwyn Library will be joined by special guest Vision Australia for an IDPwD Storytime Takeover.
This fun and engaging session is for all ages to learn about the experiences of people with blindness or low vision, and the different ways we can all engage with books and stories, including tactile exploration and Braille books. You will also be able to meet Seeing Eye Dog puppies in training!
Children 12 years and under must be supervised by an adult or caregiver when in the library.
Please book tickets for all those attending (aged 12 months and over). Bookings are limited so please cancel if you are unable to attend.
Visit the Children’s Storytimes and Activities page for all our regular children’s programs. See the Literacy and reading resources for families page to find the best reading recommendations, literacy advice and programs for your child.
