Crafted Connections

Workshop for Autistic and ADHD adults to create a piece of art about a special interest and put it on display in Nillumbik Shire.

Anthea Jane (Takiwātanga Creative) and Alison Molloy (Neurodivergent Village) are facilitating a hands-on IDPwD workshop for Autistic and ADHD adults who live, work or play in the Shire of Nillumbik.

Come along and create a piece reflecting your special interest using acrylic paint markers, stickers, glitter and more. Every piece will join together to form one shared wall artwork. No craft experience needed.

Places are limited to 12 participants so the space stays calm, comfortable and sensory-friendly. Support person tickets are limited. If you need a support person to attend, please register them seperately.

Free, thanks to the IDPwD Grant from Nillumbik Shire Council. The finished artwork will be on public display from 3 December 2026 to February 2027.

This event is auspiced by Nillumbik Initiative for Community Engagement (NICE) and funded by Nillumbik Shire Council IDPwD Grant.
