Touching Light: An artist-led multisensory encounter

Join Dr Erica Tandori at Art & Collectors for Touching Light, an exhibition using light, touch and sound to evoke the multisensory landscape through art.

Marking IDPwD, Touching Light presents a multisensory encounter of the landscape, led by legally blind artist Dr Erica Tandori.

Visitors will be invited to experience selected works from the exhibition 'Memory and Light' through senses beyond only sight. Erica will introduce the ways fragmentary vision, light and memory inform her practice, utilising tactile translations, accessible artist books and audio description.

Sound artist Dr Stu Favilla will also share his approach to translating landscape into sound.

Touching Light explores accessibility as a creative and cultural practice – using light, touch and sound to evoke the multisensory landscape through art.
