I love DJing because

I can really connect with the audience with my music.

Hi, I’m Cooper Smith and I DJ.

[Music plays]

I think I'm quite privileged.

I’ve been to Europe

and I saw a lot of live music

and did a lot of networking.

I got so much good advice

and I am hoping that at one point

I can do the same for others.

[Music plays]

I’m a big believer in putting myself out there.

I feel people underestimate

people with disability,

and I think it’s all about

taking a bit more time.

I think one of the best ways

to make Australia more inclusive

is to provide more education

in schools about disability.

[Music plays]

At the end of the day,

just don’t compare yourself,

and I know it’s hard not to do that,

but I do feel like you live in your own timeline.

Just think of it that way.

[Music plays]

I’m Cooper Smith

and I’m an Ambassador

for the International Day

of People with Disability.
