Tell us a little bit about how you recognised IDPwD in 2025?
Disability at Dusk involved live entertainment, farm experiences and food trucks. Accessibility was front and centre, with Auslan interpreters, low sensory spaces and changing facilities.
A highlight was hearing from people with disability, their carers and families about how they felt included and accepted.
What does IDPwD mean to you?
IDPwD is a chance to recognise the important contributions people with disability make to our communities. It’s also a time to continue advocating for inclusion, understanding and equal opportunity.
Who were your partners?
The event was hosted by SRDA through a partnership with Cardinia Shire, City of Casey and Greater Dandenong Councils.
